REACHING OUT DURING AND AFTER HANU

I. Goal:
· Positioning FMT with slogan : global head, local heart through civic engagement.
· FMT students: earn western knowledge of business and maintain Vietnamese values, culture , history, such as respect older people, love kids and have good attitudes , responsibilities to society
· Developing alumni networking

II. Action Plan:

1. FMT2C

a. The FMT Civic Center (FMT2C) is Hanoi University’s central resource for selective students group affiliated with the FMT2C’s civic engagement. FMT2C connects individuals and groups with opportunities to thoughtfully address civic problems and have an impact through activities including extracurricular projects, public service internships and fellowship, volunteer services, professional opportunities.

b. FMT2C members and its friends, guest speakers, volunteers teach students about civic engagement resources and opportunities on campus, lead workshop on civic engagement for student groups and leaders, and support FMT2C’s mission to improve and expand the culture of civic engagement at HANU.

c. Proposed Partners:


· NGO sector: KoTo; Hanoi International Women’s Club; Vietnam Quilts; Vidothi and other NGOs.
· Corporate sector: Research , Travel agencies, Hotels, TT Van Hoa Ca Tru Thang Long, Ng Dinh Chieu, Christina Global (HCM), socnhi.com, and Media companies
· Government sector: high schools, universities of other provinces, The Youth associations and other organizations.
